I bought a dog in 2022; it was supposed to be a show dog and a future stud. I paid a very high price—typical for a show-quality dog. The dog arrived in Poland with genetic defects; I kept the breeder updated throughout, sending photos and veterinary records. I was scammed by this breeder. The dog had an unclosed fontanelle, missing lower canines, a lack of eyelid pigmentation, hind-leg dysplasia, and Alopecia X (he was almost completely bald). He died this year after four years; he suffered a stroke. I contacted the breeder, seeking a settlement and a refund of half the purchase price. The breeder ignored the matter and stopped communicating. The contract included a five-year death warranty. The breeder insisted I provide a necropsy report, even though he had been informed of the dog's defects from the very beginning—this should have been a matter of statutory liability for defects (warranty of conformity), not just the contractual death warranty. I had the autopsy performed and sent all the documents, but the breeder stopped replying on Facebook and blocked me. That is no way to treat customers. This breeder is a fraud. I am filing a report with the FCI and the RKF; they will handle it.
